There is no new snow to report. Winds are 15-20 mph out of the south and west, with gusts of 25-35 mph. Mountain temperatures are in the single digits to 20s F. An inversion in the north has mountain temperatures much warmer than valley temps, while it’s just consistently cold in the south. Temperatures today will rise into the 20s and 30s F under mostly sunny skies. Winds will remain moderate out of the south and west. The next chance of snow is early next week.

Yesterday’s snowfall measured 4-5” in the Bridger Range and Hyalite, 7" around Big Sky, and 2-3” near West Yellowstone and Cooke City. Wind has decreased from the west to north, averaging 5-15 mph with gusts of 20 mph (32 mph at Bridger). Under sunny skies mountain temperatures will reach the high 20’s F and wind will blow W-NW at 10-20 mph. No new snow is expected in the next few days.

At 6 a.m. Lionhead received an inch of snow overnight and snow is just beginning to fall. Wind has increased from the west to southwest averaging 20-30 mph with gusts of 50 mph. Temperatures are in the teens and will climb into the high 20s today. Wind will remain strong all day and by late afternoon the mountains should have 2-4” of new snow.

This morning, temperatures are in the teens to 20s F with 20-30 mph winds from the west in the Bridger and Northern Gallatin Ranges, and 10-15 mph from the west to southwest elsewhere. In the last 24 hours, Cooke City received 3” of new snow, with 1” in Taylor Fork. Today, temperatures will be in the 20s F with 10-15 mph winds from the west to southwest and 15-25 mph winds near Bozeman. The mountains near West Yellowstone will get 2” of snow by morning, with an inch everywhere else.

The mountains have 4-7” of low-density new snow. SNOTEL stations are not reporting, so near West Yellowstone, Cooke City and Hyalite snow totals are a guess. This morning temperatures are teens F. Wind shifted to west-northwest at 10-20 mph with gusts of 25-40 mph. Today temperatures will reach low 20s F with northwest wind blowing 15-30 mph. Snow will continue near Bozeman and Big Sky this morning with another 1-3” while skies gradually clear elsewhere.

This morning there is no new snow. Winds are southwest at 10-25 mph with gusts of 35-50 mph. Temperatures are teens to 20s F. Today temperatures will reach 20s to low 30s F with southwest-west wind at 20-35 mph. Snow will start to fall this afternoon and tonight with 3-5” expected by tomorrow morning.

There is no new snow this morning. Winds ramped up overnight to 20-35 mph with gusts of 35-60 mph out of the southwest and west. Temperatures are in the teens and 20s F. High temperatures today will be in the 20s and 30s F under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Strong winds will continue out of the southwest and west. Snowfall is expected to return tomorrow.

Today will be mostly sunny, with high temperatures in the 20s F. Moderate to strong winds will continue out of the south and west. A few flakes of snow may fall tonight, but the next chance for significant accumulation is on Sunday.

In the last 24 hours most mountains received a trace to 1” of snow with 2” falling in Cooke City. Wind is westerly at 15 mph and gusting to 35 mph. Temperatures are in the teens in the northern mountains and single digits down south. Today will be sunny with temperatures reaching the high 20s F as high pressure builds.  Westerly wind will increase later this afternoon and gust 40+ mph tonight under clear skies.

In the last 24 hours, the Bridger Range received 4-7” of new snow, with 1-3” elsewhere. Mountain temperatures range from the single digits to teens F above freezing near Bozeman and Big Sky to the negative single digits F near West Yellowstone and Cooke City. Winds are 15-25 mph from the west to southwest and 5-15 mph in Cooke City. Today, high temperatures will be in the 20s F near Bozeman and Big Sky and in the positive teens F farther south. Winds will be 15-25 mph from the west to southwest, and the mountains will get a trace to 1” of snow.
